Hello!
We have our next LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group Call on Tuesday, January 26th at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 17:00 UTC / 6pm CET. Georgina Burnett (Partner Relationship Manager, Wikimedia Deutschland) and Barbara Fischer (German National Library) will kindly be walking us through Wikibase, the Integrated Authority File (GND) pilot at the German National Library, and the WikiLibrary Manifesto. As usual, there will be time for discussion and Q&A. This presentation will be useful for participants who are curious to hear more about Wikibase, the partnerships surrounding it, and what a Wikibase project can look like in practice.
The call details are below. Everyone is welcome to attend the call. To receive notifications about upcoming calls and meeting notes you can subscribe to the ld4-wikidata google group. If you aren't able to attend, the meetings are recorded and meeting notes available on Google Drive.
The LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group is associated with the Linked Data for Libraries LD4 Community and investigates how libraries can contribute to and better integrate library metadata with Wikidata to improve access to library resources on the web. The Affinity Group calls provide an informal space to share information and learn more about Wikidata.
