Hello Sara,Thank you! We're thrilled to see Pattypan used! And with Book of Kells images :-)
Please send any improvement ideas our way (one of them is a 'cheat-sheet' of popular templates, licenses etc in wikicode - all other suggestions are highly welcome). You can track our progress (and see who's contributed so far) here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/Batch_uploader_for_small_GLAM_projects/Midpoint#Midpoint_outcomesThe Pattypan overall uploads category is here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Uploaded_with_pattypanSara, would you mind adding our name here? You've done a lot for our project already :-) https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/Batch_uploader_for_small_GLAM_projects/Profile#CollaboratorsThank you!MartaOn 17 May 2016 at 13:03, Sara Thomas <sa.thomas@live.com> wrote:_______________________________________________Hello all,
Just wanted to update you - I've recently completed a piece of work with the Groam House Museum in Rosemarkie in Scotland. Their George Bain collection is a Recognised Collection of National Significance to Scotland, and I was very happy indeed to train a cross section of staff and board to edit Wiki, as well as use the new Pattypan small-GLAM uploader to upload a test batch of images from their collection.
If you'd like to take a look, the images are here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Images_from_Groam_House_Museum
Loving the Pattypan uploader - can really see how this tool will, if we target it correctly and used in partnership with the visual editor, have the potential to seriously increase smaller GLAM's engagement. Thanks to all involved!
Best,
Sara Thomas
