If I understand correctly the translation workflow of Commons videos (it’s the first time I translate Commons videos), you can either copy the Commons English page under the same title with ".lang-code.srt" at the end, either use the translation tool on
universalsubtitles.org and then copy the SRT result on Commons.

Good idea. When you have English or French subtitles, we can translate them into Spanish and Catalan, and maybe Galician.
