Dear GLAM community,

I am pleased to introduce "Wikipedia on Aruba | Aruba on Wikipedia," a pilot project aimed at enriching Wikipedia with knowledge about Aruba’s local heritage, history, and its connections to other islands within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. 

As the Wikimedian in Residence for Aruba, I am working alongside a dedicated team, including my colleagues Ricardo and Michelle from Wikimedia Netherland. Together, we are collaborating with local partners, heritage institutions, archives, libraries, and the community to bring more visibility to Aruba on Wikipedia. As a community we have a lot of inspirational stories to share.
