Hello Reem, the participation is open to all languages. But you get points writing or expanding articles. We did not consider Wikidata, but edits there are welcome.

The articles that can count are listed at the challenge page. Many works have no article yet, but those that have one are not so long. So, maybe they can translate one (or more) of them.

Regards

Santi

Hello Ruben,

Thank you for your email. This sounds great. I want to advertise this to my UG & community. Let me double check if I got this right:
People can particpate by wither writing an article in any language, adding a Wikidata entry, or adding a pic.

I also have a question, if you may. My community primarily speaks Arabic. How can they find articles to write or translate that fall in the scope of the contest?

Best,
Reem

Dear all

I want to share with the GLAM community that between November 5th and 30th Wikimedia Spain and Sorolla Museum run a writing contest about the painter Joaquín Sorolla, in the context of a GLAM collaboration. Any person can participate in any language. Details can be found at the contest page: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Sorolla_Challenge
