I am pleased to announce that this morning, I start work as Wikipedian<br>
in Residence at The New Art Gallery, Walsall<br>

I hope to have a project page on-Wiki later today, but in brief the<br>
main part of the project will be running a series of free open events<br>
for members of the public to learn to edit Wikipedia, and to use the<br>
gallery&#39;s impressive library an archives. Of course I&#39;ll also be<br>
training gallery staff, and advising the management board on their<br>
strategic approach to open content.<br>
<br>
This residency runs alongside my existing residency at Lancashire<br>
County Council&#39;s Queen Street Mill Textile Museum.<br>
<br>
I hope to see some of you at one or more of the NAGW events.<br>
