Dear Colleagues,
The Getty Research Institute will host our first Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon. Co-organized with the online magazine East of Borneo. The event is part of the magazine’s Unforgetting L.A. project, which aims to build a better online history of art in Southern California.
What: Join other volunteers to create and improve Wikipedia articles for underrepresented subjects related to architecture and design in Los Angeles.
When: Saturday, February 21, 2015, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Where: Getty Research Institute Lecture Hall, The Getty Center (free parking with validation for participants)
Who: Anyone! Beginners welcome! (New user training will be every hour on the hour)
