Hi GLAM-Wiki folks,

I just watched the video from WikiConference USA 2015 about the GLAM-Wiki US consortium. I'm glad to see that there is progress happening this year with the development of the consortium.

Here at Cascadia Wikimedians, we recently had our first Seattle-area museum event with the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience (which is a Smithsonian affiliate). Our current thinking is that we'd like to have quarterly activities with them. We've also had some GLAM events in the Portland area with the Art+Feminism theme, and we're actively engaged with the University of Washington Library System (which is among the largest library systems in the United States).

I would be very interested to know if it's possible to get regular updates about the progress of the GLAM-Wiki US consortium, and what services it might be able to provide that would be aligned with our goals and interests.

While I'm writing, I'll mention that there are tentative plans for WikiConference USA 2016 to be hosted by Cascadia Wikimedians in the Seattle area, and we would welcome the opportunity to have a meeting of the consortium at next year's WikiConference if the conference is in Seattle.

Please keep in touch.
