Congrats Sarah!

"As US OpenGLAM Coordinator, I will be working with GLAMs in the US to educate and inspire them to open their cultural holdings in a broader, open license manner through in-person engagement, online education, social media, case studies, and policy development."

Looking forward to working with you specifically re the "online education" bit, eg. via School of Open. :)

Cheers,
Jane

Hi everyone,

This week I start a new position as US OpenGLAM Coordinator. No, I'm not a replacement for Lori, who spent the past year serving as the Wikimedia Foundation's US Cultural Partnerships Coordinator (we should probably write a blog about what's different about our roles :) )! We do have some cross over though, but keep in mind my role has a broader focus not specifically geared on Wikimedia partnerships.

You can learn more about my new role here:

I look forward to helping unlock your GLAMs with you :)
