For everyone interested in this issue, I encourage you to learn more about the new Drafts namespace, which I only discovered recently. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Drafts: "Drafts of new Wikipedia articles may be hosted in the "Draft" namespace. It was created out of concern for the backlog at the Articles for Creation process for new articles." It's not much now aside from a wiki page with a different prefix, but the road map on mediawiki.org is intriguing, especially the one-click publish button in the design mockup (page 8). Nice!

I can't begin to tell you how much the black hole of AfC pains me.  So many GLAMs have been sucked into it.   I believe in the right of new editors to create a stub!

Thanks very much Andy for bringing this to our attention.  I expanded the article and added refs myself, and then resubmitted.  Hope this will do the trick.

One of you folk might be interested helping the author of this AfC
candidate to get it into a fit state for publication:

and then reaching out to the msueum as a potential GLAM partner.
