_______________________________________________Hi Lane,
Thanks for checking in. Yes, Amanda has done some excellent work on this issue. She has been very helpful, as she's pioneering perhaps the largest project of this kind. I know there are probably a couple of other qualitative studies (perhaps some sparked by the Inspire Campaign), but I haven't seen any data/results hit circulation yet. My guess is that they're still in process and the findings aren't released in widely accessible way.Let me know if you see anything!
The only research archives that I've found have been connected to the GGTF. For example, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Countering_systemic_bias/Gender_gap_task_force/related_resources
However, to find research projects in process, you'd have to look under the research archives (which are really hard to navigate). I could be wrong-- there could be other archives in the Wikipedia jungle, but I haven't happened across them.
Again, thanks for responding! I'm always open to feedback and resources. I appreciate your interest in the project!
Thanks,
Danielle

There are some other people who have done interviews - perhaps 5 have posted projects like this.
I am not sure where any archive of women's issues research is kept in Wikipedia. But have you talked with Amanda?

Hi all,
I'm currently conducting some research on the experiences of self-identified women editors on English Wikipedia.Despite the studies and articles discussing how so few women edit, still very little is known about the experiences of women who actively edit English Wikipedia and their perceptions of the gender gap. The goal is to make these findings useful to the Wikimedia/Wikipedia community (and the broader public). (I also welcome feedback about creative ways to do this!)
I'm seeking interviews with self-identified women editors of English Wikipedia who have been actively editing for 2+ years. This interview would take place over Skype, phone, or email, and your involvement would be completely confidential (and much appreciated)! If you're interested in participating, please email me atmcdona51@purdue.edu.
If you'd like to learn more about the project, here's the link to the Wikipedia research page. And please feel free to ask me any questions!
Thanks!
Danielle
