I think August would be great - it is the month that we gained the right to vote in the states! (And it happened on my birthday ;-)

We shouldn't limit it to women's history per se. My work is public art, I'll happy write about works, and if it's about women artists perhaps for the month. Perhaps, like "minority history", all things that are done by women fall into the realm of women's history, however, we should not let that detract us from the goal - get more women involved in any way, shape, or form and encourage them to participate writing about things they enjoy - whether it's American Football, punk rock or Danica Patrick.

Logo wise it'd be really cool to do something that is a play on the Wikipedia logo perhaps - maybe faces of historically notable women (from now and then) on the puzzle pieces. Just an idea..

..and yes NO PINK and let's maybe avoid the female symbol, we don't want this to be viewed as a "feminist agenda" so t say. Despite my own leanings, I've learned what an intimidating symbol it can be.

Women are experts in so many fields of study, not just Women's History.

There's no need for Women Post to Wikipedia Month to be March.
These are two different areas -
1.) "Women's History"
2.) "Women are Experts too."

In fact, I would rather that it *not* be during Women's History Month
just to make sure that the two areas are not confused with each other.

Women are to be encouraged to post to any topic.
So separate these two events.

Let's do this during August or September so it can be done correctly.
A logo sounds nice as long as it's not pink.
