After historical "Wikipedia Takes Pune" where within 5 hours - 5,000+ photos were donated to wikimedia commons to represent our Pune city on global wiki map,
Wikipedia Club Pune is proud to announce and invite you to one day fun-workshop "WikiWomenDay" on 28th October 2012. Please do join us for this amazing funday-sunday workshop!
What you can expect from WikiWomenDay Workshop?
- Introduction to Wikipedia.
- How Wikipedia works.
- Wikimedia sister projects - Wikitinary, Wikisource etc.
- WHY and 'how' to edit and contribute to Wikipedia?
- Hate editing/writing? How you can add your voice/pronunciations to articles.
- How contributing to Wikipedia can "change' your life!
- Fun Activities
- Certificate of Participation
Refreshment and snacks will be provided (free of cost) to all participants. Only 'after' attending full day workshop - participation certificate will be given.
