     It gives me pleasure to inform you that the first Wikipedia Women Workshop is being organized in Mumbai, India on 4th November 2012. Women of any age, profession or educational background are invited to attend. The workshop is hosted by Wikimedia Mumbai community and the members of  Wikimedia India Chapter. The event will involve learning the basics of Wikimedia projects such as Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. The event is aimed to increase the participation of women editors in Wikimedia projects.
