Thanks Laura. Unfortunately I’ve since learned that Sunday is out for me. My daughter’s soccer team has made finals in her league and the championship games are that Sunday in Gilroy. I’m sorry, it’s just turned out to be a tough time of year with the end of school and sports seasons and all of that. I do look forward to seeing you on Saturday though and will come well-read and well-prepared to participate!

Hello all,

We wanted to give you an update on the plan for the upcoming Advisory meeting. We will post a more complete agenda this coming Monday, but we wanted to let you know that the tentative start and end times for the meeting will be as follows:

Saturday, June 9 from 9:00 am – 4 pm (breakfast will be from 9:00-9:30; the group will reconvene for dinner at 6 pm)

Sunday, June 10, from 8:30 am – 12 pm (lunch will be available on-site at 12 pm)

When we post a more detailed agenda, we will also point you to a number of documents to review in advance of the meeting. All of these already exist on Meta, but we are working on further updates which we will post by the end of business here in San Francisco on June 4^th.

In addition, we will point you to a page on Meta where Sue will post a few questions about the current proposal that we hope you (and other members of the Wikimedia community) will engage on. Your input will help ensure that we focus our time together on the most important issues.

Finally, as you will see in the agenda, we are going to ask that each of you bring a Wiki related object from your country/community or a story to share as part of the opening exercise for the meeting. We look forward to meeting all of you in person next weekend!
