The who mockups are not really illustrating the most natural way to thank somebody. Usually, you see the diff on your watch list. Then you click on the diff button, see the changes, and, at this point you revert ou thank the guy. The thank button on watch page or the histroy page may not be useful.

On the second mockup, when user Alpha thanks user Zeta, does everyone see that on the diff ?
