Hello again,
Today, we successfully deployed Article feedback v5 on the French Wikipedia, thanks to the fine work of community volunteer Benoit Evellin and lead developer Matthias Mullie.
I have to say it is an incredible experience for me as a native french speaker to be able to post and review feedback in my mother tongue! C'est magnifique!
You can see these new features in action on this central feedback page for the French Wikipedia, where feedback from about 30 articles is being collected for now:
To report a bug, please post it here on Bugzilla:
Once this new tool has been fully tested, we plan to deploy it on 42,000 articles on the French Wikipedia in a week or two. We also hope to re-deploy this new tool on a small sample of opt-in articles on the English Wikipedia next week. (That English release keeps getting delayed due to a database cache issue that is outside our immediate control: we're sorry for this inconvenience, and will do everything we can to solve it very soon.)
We will send another update after we deploy the new features on the English Wikipedia next week.
To be continued ...
Fabrice
