Hello everyone,
I have issued DOI numbers to all of the EduWiki conference proceedings. DOI numbers are used as a permanent link for others to cite your summary of activity. You can find your summary's unique DOI by accessing your specific abstract page. PDFs will be prepared and made available at a later date.
To answer some of your other questions, WikiJournal publishes articles on the wiki immediately whenever one gets accepted. Therefore there is no set frequency for publication. For WikiJournal of Humanities, a list of editorial board members can be found at https://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/WikiJournal_of_Humanities/Editors.

Hi Omotecho,
The Wikipedia Library (TWL) facilitates editors' access to paywalled articles, books and newspapers. Since our articles are published with open license, we don't deal with TWL. Regarding the newsletter, we can explore this idea further but currently we don't have enough resources to issue DOIs to monthly newsletter contents. Instead, we are focusing primarily on conferences.
This is our first time publishing conference proceedings so I welcome anyone's feedback (both positive and negative) as we will be working with Wikimedia Colombia and Wikimedia Ukraine later this month to publish their respective national conference's presentation summaries.

Hello,
Thank you Andrew for that, it actually does help us.
Also I want to say that Matt Vetter and I will hopefully be running some sort of project consulting in the coming year to help develop little changes with big impacts like this, especially in the areas of science and education. Other examples of projects we have worked on are the new individual version of the programs and events dashboard https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Programs/Wikimedia_Research_Fund/Developing_Wikimedia_Impact_Metrics_as_a_Sociotechnical_Solution_for_Encouraging_Funder/_Academic_Engagement and the new impact visualizer https://wikiedu.org/blog/2025/05/21/announcing-impact-visualizer-1-0/ from WikiEd.
If you would like to work together, especially to link with other initiatives or find some small ways to create more impact and funding like above, just reach out.
With best regards, Brett
