Hello everyone,
First of all, please take our apologies for the delay in publishing the
education newsletter, and here is the November edition of the education
newsletter:
https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/Newsletter/November_2020
Let's recognize the successes we have all achieved this year, everything we
did is a big achievement. Even in the challenging time we were able to
follow the new norm, went virtual, changed our projects accordingly
to support our community and our stakeholders. Personally, going through
all the newsletter articles in the last couple of months inspired me a lot,
and in these challenging times showed us the value "Wikimedia belongs in
education".
And this edition of the newsletter says it all, from 15 years of
using Wikimedia in education in Serbia to 10 years of Wikimedia education
in the US and Canada, Using Wikipedia as a tool to educate, also meet the 9
community members we met this year, stories from different affiliates, and
education team's end of the year review.
We will publish the December edition of the education newsletter along with
the January edition. You can still submit your articles here:
https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/News/Newsroom
I would like to give a big shoutout to the EduWiki Outreach Collaborators
newsletter team, Romaine, Ankan, Jony, and Monusha for their active support
in supporting the newsletter work.
My best wishes for the rest of the year and to the new year ahead.
Best!
