Hi All,

On 08.02.2013, at 1.00 pm, the on-line encyclopedia Wikipedia and other projects of Wikimedia Foundation were presented in six different locations throughout Macedonia.
The presentation was a part of the first round of presentations, lectures and workshops planned to be held throughout Macedonia for different groups of people.
This presentation, on 8th February, was attended by about 130 representatives of the teaching staffs from secondary schools in Macedonia, and was held in six locations throughout Macedonia: Faculty of Information Sciences and Computer Engineering (FINKI) [1], Faculty of Natural Sciences (PMF) [2], the Technical faculty in Bitola [3], the Faculty of Tourism and catering in Ohrid [4], the University "Goce Delcev" in Stip [5], and the University of Southeastern Europe in Tetovo [6].

The presentation was about wiki-technology, what is wiki-technology, where and how it is used, what is the Wikimedia Foundation and its branches, Wikimedia Macedonia as a part of the wikimedia movement, the development of the Macedonian Wikipedia, and ways and techniques of writing articles.

The event was organized by the Faculty of Information Sciences and Computer Engineering  (FINKI) - Skopje, the Ministry of Education and Science, and Wikimedia Macedonia. For a better realization and performance in the event a modern conference video equipment was used.
