Calling educators, education policymakers, instructional technologists, students, librarians, and anyone interested in the intersections between Wikimedia projects and education: You're invited to join the Wikimania Education Pre-Conference, which will take place on July 15 and 16 of 2015 in the Hilton Hotel Reforma, Mexico City, Mexico.

The Education Pre-conference is an event held prior to Wikimania, the largest annual gathering in the wiki world. It provides a space to share experiences, take part in workshops and learn about tools and resources to start using Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects as a pedagogical tool in an academic setting.

We would love to hear from you about how Wikipedia can contribute to education. Whether you are a beginner to the Wikimedia world or whether you already use Wikipedia in the classroom, we would love to have you participate.
