Hi Deb,

1. Is the proposed new page for mobile, desktop, or both?

2. Would the change affect the Apple and Android apps?

3. My personal first impression is that I like the new proposal. However, because it is a content/design change, it should go through a community RfC on Meta. My hunch is that it will be approved after about a month. Whether or not the change is approved, the discussion should provide some valuable feedback for future possibilities of that portal.

Thanks,

Pine

We also tested the page with many Wikipedia users and received comments that the new page design was aesthetically pleasing and less cluttered.
