A small update: I still have an open ticket with IT about this, but my current hypothesis is that this calendar item is so old (it was originally a Google Hangout meeting, rather than Google Meet) that it doesn't have additional phone numbers to dial in. I will update to a new meeting and add phone information for the August office hours, but I don't want to change the video meeting information, since the meeting is only two days away and it is likely to cause confusion.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to dial-in by phone from an EU number too,
I did so in some WMF-hosted meeting only few months ago. I forgot how to
find the number, despite the instructions:
