* Geoshapes service can now add shapes to the results of Wikidata queries. [1] See graph example. [2] You now can build a graph by querying Wikidata.
* Wikipedia portal stats were updated on 30 June 2016 [3]
* Wikipedia Portal survey results emailed to Discovery and Staff email lists (second running of survey question: how did you get to
wikipedia.org?) [4]
* Dan Garry presented a Discovery update at the monthly metrics meeting on June 30. [5]
* Wikimania in Esino Lario, Italy ended and the Portal team offsite (Deb and Jan) in Warsaw, Poland began
