I am Pranjyoti (User: JyotiPN) from Assam, and I belong to the Assamese Wikimedia community. I am currently working on several GLAM projects with libraries.

One of our century-old institutions would like to donate its yearly magazines so they can be preserved digitally. We would like to know whether these magazines can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. If so, which copyright policy should we follow? Should the head of the institution send a permission email to the VRTS team?

I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.
