This kind of stuff is always nice to see.
One caveat: Effective compliance with a license which requires
attribution (CC-BY-SA) in the context of small icons used somewhere in
a UI is tricky. We can handle it somewhat haphazardly for our own
stuff (although arguably even there it would be preferable to use
something like CC-0 for icons), but using third party icons we'd need
to have effective and binding clarification that our use (e.g.
throwing credits into a file somewhere) is consistent with their
preferred attribution.
This is why other sites like
http://openclipart.org/ use CC-0.
