I noticed a neat feature of Wikiwand on desktop. Search brings up a lightbox-style overlay. When the cursor is outside the input field, it looks like a close button '(×)' , so you know a click will dismiss it.
Strangely, the Wikiwand media viewer lightbox doesn't have this feature.
