I think the below message is some kind of automatic response providing a digest summary activity on the mailing list. This is usually based on what you chose in your preference settings when you were subscribing to the list. One of the admins of the list can change your settings for you --

Nominate your favourite article every Sunday either via the public
community mailing list <dagbani-wikimedians@googlegroups.com> or the
WhatApp group
Nominations should be in by 3pm
A deciding poll will be created and people can vote until 8pm before the
next article of the week is announced.
