The Ghana- India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE) is pleased to invite you to this year’s Software Freedom Day (SFD) on the theme ‘Open Source for Digital Sovereignty’ on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 10am.

SFD is organised in partnership with Linux Accra User Group, Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA) and UNICEF with activities scheduled to climax on Saturday September 18, 2021.

Software Freedom Day (SFD) is an annual grassroots effort to educate the public on the virtues of Free/Open-Source Software (FOSS), including Digital Public Goods (DPG), and encourage its use, also in solving the world’s biggest societal challenges 

The event which will be held in Bolga, Sunyani, Accra and in educational institutions across Ghana is intended to create awareness about the value and prospects of FOSS and DPGs for Ghana.
