Hey all,

I'm currently doing some maintenance work on the web services of the Countervandalism Network. I'll be re-creating the web server to use a newer base image in Wikimedia Labs. This will also upgrade the server from Ubuntu 12 Precise (w/ Apache 2.2) to Ubuntu 14 Trusty (w/ Apache 2.4).

While there, I took a look at the traffic logs. Here's a summary of the past year.

== Unique visitors ==

From all logs since April 2014, we've seen 4013 unique IP addresses.

These statistics include spiders, crawlers and other bots. The logs of 10 November 2014 were partially corrupted due to an outage at the time.

The actual number of unique visitors may be different. Various internet providers around the world routinely assign new IP addresses to customers (thus the same user has multiple IP addresses over time). Users behind proxies will appear in the logs as the same IP address (thus many users share a single IP address).
