 May I remind you all that within a week, all images from SXC.hu that
 are not explicitly licensed under a free license, may be deleted.
 Please try to contact as many authors as possible to obtain a free
 license. I have contacted all authors of Featured Pictures, but I
 cannot do all ~1000 images.

Can you guys put some deletion template (or category) in the sxc
template so that all those images show up in commonsTicker? This way,
us at various other projects will see the list, and be scared to
death, but we'd know what is happening better.
