Hi Theo,

Thank you for your suggestion. Not too sure if I have already responded to you...

Unfortunately, the computer cannot be covered by Grants, as informed by the Grants team. The camera can be sorted as public usergroup equipment.

Thanks and regards,

User:Rehman

Can't you or User: Rehman apply for one of the grants from WMF directly? This seems like something grants were set up for.

It's under $2000, so should be covered under Rapid grants[1]. I'm adding a couple of staff members in Cc that might be of help, if you are interested.

Regards
Theo

Hello everyone,

I think it is important to let you know about the following crowdfunding campaign from February, which was started to support one of our contributors, photographers, and administrators, User:Rehman.[1]

The campaign is currently at 21% (after 9 donations), with the last donation over 4 months ago.

If succeeded, the funds from this campaign will enable Rehman to contribute high quality content from Sri Lanka and elsewhere. You may wish to see Rehman's photo gallery [2] for some of his current photos uploaded to Commons.

I'm sure that Rehman will deeply appreciate even the tiniest of donations or help with spreading the word, if anyone is willing to support the campaign.[3]
