Hi, has someone changed something on commons to slow the rate at which things show up when you create categories and so forth?

There was a thread on the cultural partners list about who could and could not see images in a new category of UNESCO videos uploaded, and now I'm finding when I recategorise images they no longer disappear from the category I'm working through.
