I recently got a similar minor thrill out of seeing that one of my Flickr photos was transferred to Commons. I usually transfer them only after having the species pictured identified, but apparently someone was looking for CC-licensed pictures of wasps on Flickr and uploaded mine to Commons despite it lacking the exact species name:
