Well, you took not the best mailinglist for this question...
You should try mediawiki-l for this kind of questions.
A few thoughts:
i) index.php\Title is impossible - it will be index.php/Title
ii) this kind of stuff is handled by apaches mod_rewrite, if I'm not
completly wrong
