Same here with Firefox, but I can also load the video directly with
the browser's capabilities.

HTTP-only
<http://prototype.wikimedia.org/mwe-gadget/mwEmbed/remotes/mediaWiki.js>
which is therefore ignored by Chromium.

The embedplayer=yes parameter is supported in the timed media handler
for embedding an iframe version of a media asset; with associated
license metadata, captions, multiple flavors.
There is no solution for mwEmbed.js over https and that part of the url
can be removed once TMH is deployed, and the urls should remain valid
for iframe embed support. Best practice for the time being would be
either a) don't use https and or b; manually embed the asset with a
manually constructed video tag and link back to the description page.
