that the bug will be fixed soon. If I should need to access horizon
urgently before the bug has been fixed, I will apply the work around you
suggested.

Instead of creating a new account, it would be much more simple to
just change your cn and sn to remove the umlaut (maybe you could even
change it yourself). That said, I would very much prefer the Horizon
bug to be fixed, rather than starting using workarounds.
