I joined the openstack-k8s-sig after the interesting converstion in Austin.  Seems fairly low key atm, but I did turn up Ebay's use case for deploying openstack on k8s.

Pretty interesting, actually the director of cloud things was in that panel with me so I could reach out if we have questions.  This seems to be very close to our interests.
