Hi all,
Apologies in advance if this isn't the best place to ask this question...
I am a volunteer at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) and am
working to optimize the organization and discoverability of its
publications in BHL and also on Wiki platforms.
I am currently working on publications of Theodore D. A. Cockerel
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodore_D._A._Cockerell>l
In the External Links section of the Wikipedia article about him I'd like
to add a link labeled 'Works by T. D. A. Cockerell at BHL" that points to
https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/creator/1941#/titles. IMO, this is
justifiable since the links to his publications in Internet Archives don't
include articles by Cockerell for the most part.
Before proceeding, I'd like to know if people think that such links are
warranted and useful for this Wikipedia article and others.
Thanks in advance for advising me!
Susan Lynch

Subject: Living Data 2025 call for sessions
External Email - Exercise Caution
Dear GBIF colleagues,
We’re pleased to announce the opening of the call for sessions for Living Data 2025, a joint meeting of the TDWG, GBIF, OBIS and GEO BON networks, hosted by Instituto Humboldt from 21 to 24 October in Bogotá, Colombia.
We and our co-organizers invite you to submit your proposal<https://www.livingdata2025.com/calls.html> for an organized session at Datos Vivos/Living Data 2025. Sessions should reflect the work of GBIF<https://www.gbif.org/>, OBIS<https://obis.org/>, TDWG<https://www.tdwg.org/> and GEO BON<https://geobon.org/>, including, but not limited to, monitoring and observation of the natural world, data standards, data mobilization and the ways in which these efforts contribute to policy-making and our understanding of bio- and geodiversity.
Sessions should reflect at least one of Living Data’s four themes<https://www.livingdata2025.com/themes.html>:
1. Open data
2. Data integration
3. Biodiversity data application
4. Community engagement, participation and capacity building
Organized sessions can be symposia, panel discussions, lightning sessions, and other formats in which the primary purpose is to convey information and engage the audience. Workshops are welcome, but must be approved by the Organizing Committee in prior to submission.
We will promote this call vigorously after the holiday break, and hope you can help us with that work beginning early in January.
Learn more about this call and submit your proposal on the Datos Vivos 2025 website<https://www.livingdata2025.com/>. Contact the organizers<mailto:info@livingdata2025.com> with questions or to propose a workshop.
All the best,
Kyle
