I created this svg map using Wikimedia Stats API and a Python script: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Most_popular_edition_of_Wikipedia_by_country.svg

Someone has just mentioned on the talk page that Eric Zachte created a similar map in the past:
However, Eric retired from WM as Data Analyst in 2019 ( https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:WiViVi ). It seems the map isn't up-to-date as it's based on https://stats.wikimedia.org/wikimedia/squids/SquidReportPageViewsPerCountryOverview.htm

Eric suggested contacting you. I would love to work with you to build an updated version of that map. How could we do that?
