PineHi Reem,There was a presentation at WikiConference North America about a research project that discussed a very similar topic [1] by an OCLC researcher. If no one else on the Analytics list has suggestions, I would suggest that you contact the Wikidata list. Many interwiki article links are now going through Wikidata, and I would guess that the Wikidata folks have some thoughts about this. You might also contact Diane Vizine-Goetz (her email is shown on the WikiConference session page) to see if she has suggestions.
