The work behind each edition of the EduWiki Newsletter https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/News begins long before publication.
It begins with educators documenting a classroom activity, volunteers reflecting on an initiative, affiliates sharing a partnership, or contributors capturing an experience that others in the Wikimedia education community can learn from.
We're now preparing the *August 2026 edition*, and the *Education Newsroom https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Education/News/Newsroom* is open for new submissions.
If you're planning to contribute, please keep the following in mind:
- Stories should focus on *Wikimedia and education*. - Stories should be *300 to 500 words*. - Submissions are welcome in *English or your local language*. - You may include *images, audio, or video*, particularly if they are available on Wikimedia Commons. - Before submitting, please review the *Publication Guidelines https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Education/News/Publication_Guidelines* to ensure your story is ready for publication, especially if it's your first time submitting.
