We have gained valuable insights from our internship program, and a significant lesson we've discovered is that a 6-month program is not effective. There's a lot fo learn and as soon as interns are trained, they must depart which is not beneficial to us or the interns themselves.

I had a feeling of "déjà-vu" or "to be expected" when I read the challenges reported by the intern : https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Internship_experience_report-Tshepiso_Ngalek... It certainly does feel that interns had the opportunity to experience "the reality of working life in a small NGO" ;) It must have represented a serious work-load for you...
