I'm confident it was the size, because I sent my "Excellent, Douglas" reply on its own first, and it was bounced citing the 40K limit.  So I canceled the post and resent with the quoted bit much cropped.

P.S. your post was delayed for 6 days because of the 40K limit on messages to this list.  I'm guessing it was put there on purpose, to conserve bandwidth for those for whom it is an issue.  So we would do well to avoid quoting entire threads, and perhaps those with embedded graphics in their signature could disable them for this list.  Alternatively, if it isn't in fact an issue, the list admins (Dumi and Rexford) could lift the limit, or increase it.
