I am very happy for this shortlist, not only because I actually voted for that very inspiring picture of St John Church of Sohrol in Iran, but also because the third winner of POTY 2022 is an image from the Wiki Loves Africa contest.
And this makes me really proud of our work :)

In the second round ? the ?three votes? was used ? eligible users could vote for up to 3 finalists ? each of these 3 votes counted equal. There were 2,360 eligible voters in round 1, and 2,971 in round 2.
