Hello Ian,

Thanks for your email. The Needs and Assessment page was created a very long time ago and we asked members to fill it way before we opened calls for scholarship applications. Most countries and participants filled it long ago. This was from WMF to ensure inclusion in the Programmes. This is just a reminder for those who missed this information earlier on.

There is also a mention of the Needs and Assessment page on the Scholarship application forms to inform applicants to fill them before submitting their application and one cannot proceed until this question is answered affirmatively. Plus there is a link on the form to this page.  I hope this helps.

Regards

Hi

The mail I sent previously to the mailing list never made it through moderation, so posting again.

This has been very short notice, and there's no mention of this deadline on the website that I can see, for example:
http://2017.wikiindaba.net/index.php?title=Register#Important_dates
The application deadline is listed as the 30th, so I'm sure some people will miss out by having an unpublished deadline of the 18th.

I also don't see a mention or link to the Needs and assessment page anywhere (although I haven't gone beyond page 1 on the Google application form) so I'm not sure anyone following the details on the website will know about it if they miss the email.

Hello all,
This is to inform you that today is the deadline for filling the Needs and Assessment page. Please note, it is a prerequisite for all applicants seeking scholarship to either fill it by themselves or as a Team.

Please pass this information on.

Regards

Raphael on behalf of Indaba 2017 Team
