Wiki Loves Folklore aimed to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of folklore from around the world by encouraging contributors to upload their media to Wikimedia Commons.

The project, which ran from 1st February to 31st March, received an overwhelming response, with a total of 38,027 submissions from 2,200 dedicated uploaders representing 140 countries. It's been truly inspiring to witness the global enthusiasm and commitment to preserving and sharing folklore through this initiative.
