At the risk of stating the obvious, I would encourage you to actually look at all the applicants, including their candidate statements, and vote in support (or against) however many of them you think best for the movement, rather than automatically voting by geography. 

If Felix gets elected, it should be because enough people think he would best serve this funding committee, and not (only) because he's African.

Just to add to what Raphael has said, the role at the FDC looks at diversity in terms of geographical location, language, etc. I believe am a best fit in this regard as it is an opportunity represent underrepresented in the movement.

However the most important factor here is my ability to meet the responsibilities for the position, my ability to effectively scrutinize annual grants and render prudent advice. My background in Finance and business development provides the specifics in my ability to be successful at this role.

I hope am granted the opportunity to serve the foundation and to adequately advice the efficient use of our resources (funds).
