This event is a celebration of the remarkable contributions made by community members to the Wikimedia projects in Nigeria and beyond in the year 2023.

The awards aim to recognize and honor the efforts of community members who have made significant contributions to Wikimedia projects and to inspire others to join the community and become community heroes themselves. This is a unique opportunity to showcase and honor the human resources behind the Wikimedia projects in Nigeria.
