Since when are deadlines hard written in stone ? Ahum.
No... we are rather planning to announce the winners before the
end of January, but not this week-end. I am going to put up an
information about that on the site/social network.
We thought it was best to do a selection in two batches (first
level of selection by Wikimedians jury members, then second level
with the full jury) and we also thought people would be really
busy just before and during Christmas (shopping time, family...)
so we did not want to spoil that.
So we are currently waiting for the first list made by Wikimedians
jury members (some already provided this info, not all of them).
Hopefully this will be done by this week-end. I will keep you
posted on this list !!!
Second level of selection will then be made by the full jury, and
I think it would be nice to give them about two weeks to decide.
That means... yeah... end of the month is probably going to be it.
Florence
PS: I put our jury members in copy of this email :)

According to Timeline of WLA[1], we should expect the
results this week, unless there's a change in plan.
When will winners of the WLA contest be announced?

I'll invite you read his article (and help improve)
on Wikipedia, however before you do, I'll say he's
"all over the place" in the world. I can't describe
him better. Ghanani ba oooh!
